Carte Blanche

I've been a fan of DJ Mehdi since I first saw him tour with Justice on their Myspace music tour. I just recently got to meet him at Santos Party House in NYC at the Cloak and Dagger party hosted by DJ Gina Turner. He played a set that night and the night after heavily influenced by house. For the past couple of years DJ Mehdi has been touring with Justice and A-Trak. In between his sets on tour he was collaborating with Riton from the UK. Riton is Newcastle’s finest, having made it from the Northern vibrations of Grand Central Recordings to being the most stable asset in the Radio Soulwax family and tour. He has remixed the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Crookers.
These guys are calling themselves, Carte Blanche. They will be touring in Spring of this year in North America and Europe. 
 In their own words, it will consist of: four decks, a mixer, a 909, strictly house music, and noo bangers.  Check out their recently released track for an idea of where this is headed.
